There is a reference made to this Pilgrimage in the 1831 census. This 28 mile circumference walk of Inis Mór is broken up into a 3 day walk. It was traditional done during Easter. It takes in Aran's most breathtaking scenery and it's hidden gems, stopping here and there to do the 'Rounds' or 'An Turas' which is a healing ritual. This is a walk or a journey to cleanse the spirit. Bring something and leave something behind.
